2015 Women Coaches Symposium early-bird registration now open

Early-bird registration for the Tucker Center’s 2nd annual Women Coaches Symposium: “Empowering Women to Lead in the 21st Century” being held on April 17 is now open. The symposium is filling up fast and space is limited so register now!

The WCS, held at TCF Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus, is co-sponsored by U of M Gopher Athletics and the Alliance of Women Coaches.

Among a program of outstanding speakers, this year’s symposium is featuring Sue Enquist, former UCLA softball coach and 11-time NCAA Division-I National Champion, who will give the inaugural Jean K. Freeman keynote, “Competitive Greatness 24/7: Excellence Never Blinks.” Enquist is a highly sought-after expert coach and motivational speaker with an international reputation. Having coached for 27 years, she holds more National Championships than anyone in the history of collegiate softball, and has produced 15 Olympians and 65 NCAA All-Americans. Enquist’s full bio, along with bios of other presenters, is available at the symposium website.

The Women Coaches Symposium provides high quality educational programming and professional development for all women coaches of all sports and levels of play. It provides a networking avenue and space to build community among women coaches with the goal to increase and retain women in the coaching profession.
