Associate Professor Joyce Serido, Department of Family Social Science, is leading an ongoing a ten-year study of more than 2,000 students that found that financial self-efficacy correlates more strongly with subjects’ financial well-being than almost any other factor, including gender, race, and socioeconomic background.
