Collins receives Buhrmester Memorial Award for career contributions

CollinsA-2004Andrew Collins, Distinguished University Teaching Professor at the Institute of Child Development, has received the Buhrmester Memorial Award for career contributions to research on interpersonal relationships during adolescence. The award honors Duane Buhrmester, associate dean of the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences (BBS) and professor of psychological sciences at the University of Texas, Dallas, who died in a climbing accident in 2010.

The award was presented at the biennial meeting of the Society for Research on Adolescence in March 2014.
