Joan DeJaeghere, associate professor in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD), recently presented a paper, “Transforming Girls’ Aspirations into Well-Being: The Critical Role of Imagining Alternative Futures in Low-Resourced Tanzanian Communities,” for a featured panel at the Human Development and Capability Association, Washington D.C.

She was also an invited participant at a workshop, “Beyond Parity – Measuring Gender Equality in Education,” sponsored by U.N. Girls Education Initiative and the Institute of Education in London.
