FSoS Ashley Landers awarded the Family Process Institute’s New Writers Fellowship

Ashley LandersThe Family Process Institute awarded Department of Family Social Science graduate student Ashley Landers its  New Writers Fellowship. Recipients of the fellowship participate in a workshop with a focus on the craft of scholarly writing. Fellows receive free tuition and a travel stipend to participate.

“The goal of the fellowship is to support the development of new scholars who will advance the field by publishing in Family Process and other family therapy journals.  Fellows will participate in a full-day writing workshop taught by Dr. Evan Imber-Black, editor of Family Process from 2004-2011 and a well published author. The purpose of the workshop is to help participants shape a developing manuscript for journal submission.  Participants will receive both individual feedback on their work from Dr. Imber-Black and small group consultation.  Fellows will also have the opportunity to meet the Family Process Institute Board of Directors.”
