FSoS Anderson and Rudi selected as Neubeck/Maddock scholarship recipients

fsosglobeDepartment of Family Social Science graduate student Kayla Anderson and Jessica Rudi have been selected as the 2013 Neubeck/Maddock Scholarship recipients. The scholarship provides financial support for travel to conferences where they have each been selected to present scholarly papers.
Kayla presented “Outcomes of ART Multiples and their Families: A Look at Middle Childhood” at the Conjoint Meeting of the International Federation of Fertility Societies and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in Boston, and “Acknowledging Differences: Do Adoptive Family Interactions Matter?” at the National Council on Family Relations Annual Conference in San Antonio.
Jessica will present two papers, “Parent-child relationship quality and parental knowledge among emerging adult college students: The role of communication,” and “Family communication patterns and frequency of communication technology use with parents among emerging adult college students,” at the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood 6th Biennial Conference in Chicago, and “It’s not just for teens: Parents’ use of social networking sites,” at the National Council on Family Relations Annual Conference in San Antonio.
