FSoS Liz Wieling receives 2013 IDEA Multicultural Research Award

WielingLizDepartment of Family Social Science associate professor Liz Wieling has received a 2013 IDEA Multicultural Research Award for her project “Adapting an evidence-based family intervention for trauma affected refugees in Minnesota.”


The Institute for Diversity, Equity, and Advocacy (IDEA) uses the Multicultural Research Awards to build a community for faculty who are involved in research that is related to IDEA’s mission of transforming the University by enhancing the visibility and advancing the productivity of an interdisciplinary group of faculty and community scholars whose expertise in equity, diversity, and underrepresented populations will lead to innovative scholarship that addresses urgent social issues.
