Nicole M. LaVoi, Ph.D., faculty in the School of Kinesiology and co-director of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport, will be giving two talks on November 12. The first will be as a part of the CEHD Saturday Scholars’ Changing Nature of Work event, and will be entitled “Paradox, Pitfalls & Parity: Where Have all the Women Sport Coaches Gone.” The second talk will be on the psychology of coaching at the 26th Annual Mayo Clinic Symposium on Sports Medicine in Rochester, MN.
