During the 2014 National Council on Family Relations conference, two projects were awarded NCFR Innovation Grants.
Department of Family Social Science professor Jenifer McGuire, along with her colleagues Katherine Kuvalanka, Abbie Goldberg, and Asaf Orr, received $10,000 for “The TransKids Project: Strengthening Community Connections.”
NCFR began offering Innovation Grants in 2013 “to promote innovative, interdisciplinary approaches to research, theory, and practice to support the well-being of families.” Learn more about the NCFR Innovation Grants on their website.
