Karen Miksch, associate professor in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development (OLPD), received an Access Achievement Award from the U of M Disability Resource Center. She was nominated by OLPD master’s program student Christopher Luhmann, who said she was “very supportive and accommodating” while he was taking a course from her last fall. “Karen was very understanding and supportive as I explained to her the circumstances I was going through,” said Luhmann. “She met with me whenever I needed to, always communicated with me in a respectful manner as we talked about how to go about papers and projects that I needed to do for class, and was always accommodating to my needs.”
