Arruda receives 2023 Mace Travel Award to attend ICPA conference

Dani Arruda, MS, a PhD candidate in the School of Kinesiology and member of the Affordance Perception-Action Laboratory (APAL) led by Tom Stoffregen, PhD, recently received the 2023 Mace Travel Award from the International Society for Ecological Psychology to attend the 2023 International Conference on Perception and Action. At the conference, Arruda will present two posters entitled, “Sex Differences in Active Head Tilt in a Virtual Driving Game,” and “Perception of virtual affordances for receiving serves in volleyball: The Effects of Serve Height in Women and Men.” He will also present a symposium talk entitled, “Sport as a domain for research on higher domain affordances.”
