Donald R. Dengel, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology (LIHP), is a consultant on a grant funded by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. This three-year grant titled “Multi-speed ergonomic wheelchair” will develop an ergonomic wheelchair that is more energy efficient than current wheelchair designs.
