Dengel publishes blog on measuring body composition in basketball players

Don Dengel, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology (LIHP), is the author of a recent blog post entitled “Scanning Basketball Players with DXA.” Many professionals as well a collegiate basketball players are too tall to fit in the dual X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scanner area and this blog post discusses solutions to scanning these athletes.
