Greising, Boyer, and Raymond-Pope receive grant

Sarah M. Greising, PhD, associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Skeletal Muscle Plasticity and Regeneration Laboratory (SMPRL), along with Liz Boyer, PhD, clinical scientist at Gillette Children’s Health Care, received a grant from the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM). The grant will be co-directed by Christiana Raymond-Pope, PhD, a senior researcher in the SMPRL. The grant, “Baseline muscle properties of individuals with Cerebral Palsy,” extends the pilot work of the team with the goal of longitudinally evaluating changes in muscle tissue for those with Cerebral Palsy prior to and following clinical tone interventions to help inform clinical intervention decisions.
