Rachel Hawe, Jed Elison (ICD), and Emmanual Bonney (ICD) have been awarded CEHD Jump Start funding for their project “A Novel Approach to Precision Characterization of Motor Function in Autism”. This project will use robotic assessments to characterize motor impairments in children with autism. This is an exciting new collaboration between the School of Kinesiology and Institute of Child Development that will improve our understanding of autism-related motor impairments, which has significance for both the diagnosis and treatment of autism.
