Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the NeuRAL Lab, received a Grant-In-Aid of Research, Artistry, and Scholarship for her proposal entitled “Identifying Impairments in Bilateral Coordination and Neural Correlates in Individuals Post-Stroke.” This project will be characterizing bilateral coordination impairments in individuals with chronic stroke using robotic tasks, and relating performance to neuroimaging findings. The long-term goal of this work is to be able to develop personalized interventions for improved outcomes post-stroke.
