Health Profession Pathways students participate in kinesiology’s laboratory demonstrations

On August 8, 2023 the Human Performance Teaching Laboratory (HPTL) and the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology (LIHP) within the School of Kinesiology was host to 18 incoming, first-year students who were participating in the University of Minnesota’s Health Profession Pathways program. The Health Profession Pathways program supports students from diverse backgrounds as they develop into future leaders in health professional careers.

Under the direction of LIHP director Don Dengel, PhD, graduate students Hannah Westerberg, Jack Dooley, Will Juckett, Hannah Studee, and Anton Hesse directed students in laboratory exercises on Wingate testing, ultrasound imaging, body composition, and virtual anatomy.
