The New York Times  has quoted Dr. Mary Jo Kane, director of the Tucker Center and professor in the School of Kinesiology, in an article on the newly formed United Women’s Lacrosse League, the first professional women’s lacrosse league in the country. Kane’s comments in “Women’s Professional Lacrosse League Begins With a Mission in Mind” focus on gauging the success of the league in coming years.
