Nicole LaVoi, Ph.D., faculty in the School of Kinesiology and co-director of the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport will speak on a panel at the 5th Annual Youth Sports Summit held by the LA84 Foundation. The summit will take place at the JW Marriott L.A. Live in Los Angeles on October 27, 2016.

This year’s event is themed Playing Forward: The Present and Future of Youth Sports and will serve as a platform to highlight the LA84 Foundation’s commitment to leveling the playing field for all children, while reinforcing the importance of youth sports in the minds of policy makers and the public.
