Family Social Science Professor Abi Gewirtz is leading a new center dedicated to putting trauma-informed and parent-focused interventions into the hands of practitioners throughout the country who can use them to support families affected by traumatic stressors.

The Center for Resilient Families is a program of the Institute of Translational Research at the University of Minnesota. The work is funded through funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Child Traumatic Stress Network.
