Elison selected to be part of autism research consortium

ElisonJ-2013Jed Elison, assistant professor, Institute of Child Development, has been unanimously elected as an associate member of the Autism Speaks Baby Siblings Consortium (BSRC). BSRC brings together research groups from around the world with the mission of discovering the earliest predictors of autism. The researchers study early autism risk factors using methods that include behavioral and neurobiological measures. BSRC hopes to build on the expertise of these research groups by encouraging collaboration and the sharing of information to make significant progress in early detection and intervention. BSRC is a partnership between Autism Speaks and the National Institutes of Health, led by the National Institute of Child Health & Human Development.
