FSoS Roundtable Volunteers for Kids Against Hunger

fsosrtvFSoS Rountable undergrads volunteered on March 9th for local non-profit Kids Against Hunger, whose mission is to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world. Roundtable volunteers packaged seven boxes to be sent to the Philippines. That equals 3,672 meals which will feed ten children each day for an entire year.

The FSoS Undergraduate Roundtable is an undergraduate student organization established to create a sense of identity within the Department of Family Social Science, to provide networking opportunities, to promote healthy relationships, to provide hands on experience in community service and involvement, and to encourage socialization with peers and faculty. This volunteer event is one of many they conduct throughout the year. Find them on Facebook to learn more about how to join.
