Department of Family Social Science undergraduate student Christa Johnson met Gloria Steinem after her lecture at the April Augsburg College Women’s Resource Center Awards.
Johnson said “It was truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I took somewhere around 6 pages of notes!”
Steinem is a prominent writer, lecturer, editor, and feminist activist. She has been a nationally-renowned force in the feminist movement since the late 1960s.
