ICD doctoral student awarded APA Dissertation Research Grant

DoomJenaJena Doom, doctoral student at the Institute of Child Development, has been awarded the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Division 7 Dissertation Research Grant in Developmental Psychology. Doom is currently conducting the research for her dissertation, entitled When Parents Become Ineffective Stress Buffers, Do Peers Step In? The award of $500 is given annually to support the dissertation research of 1 to 3 students whose in-progress research significantly advances ‘content knowledge, methodology and/or theory in developmental psychology’. APA’s Division 7 represents developmental psychologists.
