Ann Masten, Irving B. Harris Professor of Child Psychology at the Institute of Child Development, gave the keynote speech at the Second World Congress on Resilience: From Person to Society held in Timisoara, Romania on May 8-10. Masten’s talk, Resilience over the lifespan: Developmental perspectives, addressed the current stage of the evolution of resilience research, which the organizers have described as the ‘fourth wave – a stage characterized by multileveled analysis of how resilience is shaped.’ The conference was organized by the Department of Social Work at the West University, Timisoara and a network of international resilience researchers.
While at the conference, Masten was interviewed by Psychomedia Magazine. You may link to this interview here. The interview is in English.
