Bricout receives Virginia Commonwealth University “Making a Difference” award

The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Doctoral Program Committee has selected Dr.
John Bricout
to receive the program’s “Making a Difference” award this year. The School’s PhD
program confers this award in alternating years to an alumna/ae of the program who has
distinguished themselves in the field, and have made significant contributions to the profession
and its mission.

Professor Bricout’s areas of interest include social technologies and the engagement of people with disabilities, disability and employment, technology and social work ethics, interdisciplinary team building, rehabilitation science, workforce development, international social work.

Dr. Bricout will receive his award at the VCU Spring Celebration Luncheon on May 4th in Richmond, VA.
