CEHD academic adviser leads global seminar in New Zealand

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERADuring May session, CEHD academic adviser Mark Bellcourt led six University students on a global seminar to New Zealand. Students learned about New Zealand’s indigenous Maori community, the economics of the region, and diverse philosophies within and between the Maori and descendents of the European colonialists. Bellcourt has also led global seminars in Mexico’s Yucutan Peninsula, which explored how tourism has impacted the region’s environment.
