Michelle de Haan, Ph.D. (ICD, 1996) was named the 2012 CEHD Distinguished International Alumni and was presented with the award by Regents Professor Megan Gunnar, Director of the Institute of Child Development, and Jon Ruzek, Director of CEHD Alumni Relations, during a celebration held on October 26, 2012. Michelle was mentored by both Gunnar and Professor Charles Nelson (now at Harvard) while a doctoral student at ICD. Currently, Michelle is a faculty member at University College London studying developmental cognitive neuroscience. While visiting ICD to receive her award, Michelle gave a special visiting scholar lecture about her research. Congratulations, Michelle!
