On November 12, OLPD Associate Professor Peter Demerath delivered his Presidential Address to the Council on Anthropology and Education, a section of the American Anthropological Association. 

The address is titled, “Decolonizing Education: Roles for Anthropology,” and focuses on building anti-racist schools that honor all ways of being human, and decolonizing school leadership, teaching and learning, student-teacher relationships, social and emotional learning; and education research and policy.
