Dr. Mathew Hillmann, Superintendent of Northfield Public Schools and an adjunct faculty in the U of M Administrative Licensure program has been named the  2023 Minnesota Superintendent of the Year. In the last 20 years, the Minnesota Superintendent of the Year has been awarded to 7 superintendents who have served or are serving in the Administrative Licensure program as adjunct faculty or program director. Matt is the 3rd from the U of M in the last 4 years. Dr. Hillamann is also excitingly now a candidate for National Superintendent of the year, which will be announced during the American Association of School Administrators (AASA) National Conference on Education on February 16-18, 2023, in San Antonio, TX.
