Amy Hewitt, director of the Institute on Community Integration and chair of the Association of University Centers on Disability (AUCD), testified before the Health Subcommittee of the Committee on Energy and Commerce on June 25. The committee held a legislative hearing, “Reauthorizing Vital Health Programs for American Families.” Hewitt testified on H.R. 1058, the Autism CARES Act of 2019.
