A new project studying the incidence of autism within the Somali community in Minneapolis has been awarded to the University’s Department of Pediatrics, Institute on Community Integration, and Department of Educational Psychology, as well as the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). The one-year, $400,000 study is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and awarded through the Association of University Centers on Disabilities.
