College of Education and Human Development student Emily Przybylski was quoted in the New York Times about the campaign to unionize Jimmy John’s workers. Przybylski, who is taking coursework in Family Social Science and Youth Studies, is a bike delivery worker at Jimmy John’s. “A union in fast food is an idea whose time has come… There are millions of workers in this industry living in poverty, with no consistent scheduling, no job security and no respect.
