
Elizabeth Abraham, student in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (PhD, WHRE track), was awarded second place in the University-wide 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition on Friday, November 11. She also received the People’s-Choice Award.
Abraham’s presentation, “Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy of Tribal Farmers,” described her dissertation research, which aimed to understand the factors contributing to the development of entrepreneurial intentions among tribal farmers in Nagaland, India. The farmers in Abraham’s study were between 26 and 45 years olds and were predominantly female. Abraham successfully defended her dissertation in October 2019.
