Learn about the M.Ed. in youth development leadership by viewing a new four-minute video, “Discovering YDL.” The video features youth development leadership students and faculty who highlight features of the YDL master’s of education program and the types of positions in which graduates of the program are employed. The program provides educators with an informed understanding of practices, policies, and ethics of youth development work and prepares them to contribute to the healthy development of young people in traditional and nontraditional settings. YDL faculty member and program coordinator Jerry Stein summed up the program as a “scholarly complex approach to ideas with give and take, experiential learning, and a lot of fun. It’s a great way to go to graduate school.”
