Dyani Acosta, a DirecTrack to Teaching student who has been accepted into the MEd and Teaching License program in Social Studies Education, has been awarded the Professional Education Diversity Fellowship by the Provost’s office for the 2022-23 academic year. The award supports academically exceptional students with diverse backgrounds and experiences pursuing a graduate program at the University of Minnesota.

The Provost’s Professional Education Diversity Fellowship is a one-year (two semesters) fellowship, awarding full tuition, a stipend, and subsidized healthcare.
