Thomas Swiss, professor of culture and teaching in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, is co-PI on a project funded by The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Among other activities, Swiss, along with two sociologists from Laurier and York Colleges in Canada, will be co-organizing an international conference on “Materialities and Imaginaries of the Mobile Internet” to be held in Waterloo, Ontario, next November.
