Paula F. Goldberg (BS ’64) obituary

Paula F. Goldberg (BS ’64) was born in Rochester MN, grew up in Minneapolis, and graduated from St. Louis Park High School. She went on to attend and graduate from the University of Minnesota elementary education program in 1967. In 1976, seeing a need for advocates to help families with children with disabilities, initially in the State of Minnesota and eventually nationally and even internationally, Paula co-founded PACER Center, a Twin Cities-based organization she co-founded in 1977 to help parents of children with disabilities connect with each other. She was the Executive Director there until the day she died. She received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the University of Minnesota in 2017. Read more.
