In honor of Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week, observed annually and nationwide, the School of Kinesiology hosted a pizza luncheon for graduate and professional students at Cooke Hall on Tuesday, April 5. More than 30 graduate students (including PhD, MS/MA, and MEd students) and faculty members attended the luncheon to celebrate the important work of graduate and professional students. Since this was the first in-person gathering for graduate students since the COVID-19 pandemic, it provided students and faculty a refreshing opportunity to connect, laugh, and talk over pizza.
There are also University-wide activities celebrating graduate and professional students planned throughout the week.
