Don Dengel, PhD, professor of exercise science in the School of Kinesiology, and director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology (LIHP,) is the author of a recent blog post entitled, “Mortality of 1964 Tokyo Olympic Athletes.” The blog discusses a recent paper that examined the association between measures of physical fitness and lifestyle on mortality in Japanese athletes who competed in the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games.
