Dr. Stoffregen joins a group of experts to evaluate the current state of the field in “cybersickness”

 School of Kinesiology professor and director of the Affordance Perception-Action LaboratoryThomas Stoffregen, PhD, was invited to join a group of experts in summarizing the current state of the field in “cybersickness.”

In an article published in the International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction titled “Identifying Causes of and Solutions for Cybersickness in Immersive Technology: Reformulation of a Research and Development Agenda,” Stoffregen and his peers explore immersive technologies and the common user issue, ‘cybersickness.’ They evaluate the state of research on this problem, identify challenges that must be addressed, and formulate an updated cybersickness research and development agenda.
