Five graduates honored in School of Kinesiology PhD Hooding Celebration

On Friday, May 12th the School of Kinesiology honored five PhD graduates: Drs. Madeline Czeck, Amanda Folk, Stephanie Grace, Jinseok Oh, and Jiapeng Xu. Each of the graduates was hooded by their faculty advisor. Dr. Czeck received her doctoral stole from Dr. Don Dengel, who spoke fondly of the eight years that he has known Dr. Czeck. Drs. Folk and Grace received their doctoral stoles from Dr. Daheia Barr-Anderson, who spoke of their closeness and, in a metaphor supplied by her daughter, compared their growth into PhD holding scholars to the aging of a fine cheese. Drs. Oh and Xu received their doctoral stoles from Dr. Juergen Konczak, who spoke of their history and commended their achievements already made as recent PhDs.

The School of Kinesiology is proud to have produced such fine scholars and wishes them all the best in their future endeavors.
