Gao and PAEL researchers present papers in Phoenix and San Diego

Zan Gao, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Physical Activity Epidemiology Laboratory (PAEL), recently presented a research project entitled “Breast cancer survivors’ functional fitness, biomarkers, and physical activity determinants and behavior: A descriptive study” at the 2022 International Society of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity annual conference in Phoenix, AZ.

In addition, Gao delivered another presentation entitled “Acute effects of virtual reality exercise on young adults’ blood pressure and feelings” at the American College of Sports Medicine annual meeting in San Diego, CA. PAEL graduate student, Suryeon Ryu, also presented a project entitled, “Effects of a Tai Chi App on mental health among breast cancer survivors.”
