Rachel Hawe, PhD, assistant professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the NeuRAL Lab, traveled to Penn State University last week to give two invited talks. Her first talk, “Stroke Rehabilitation Across the Lifespan,” was for the Kinesiology Graduate Student Colloquium. Her second talk, “Moving Beyond the Affected Arm: Examining Bilateral Movements and Visuospatial Attention in Children with Hemiparetic Cerebral Palsy,” was for the Penn State Action Club, a group of motor control researchers at Penn State. The talk was also attended virtually beyond Penn State. She presented work from the NeuRAL Lab, including projects led by Ally Richardson, a kinesiology master’s student, and Shelby Ziccardi, a computer science PhD student.
