The School of Kinesiology’s Physical Activity Epidemiology Laboratory (PAEL) researchers Mohamed Hassan, PhD,. and Zan Gao, PhD, professor and director of the PAEL, have published a network meta-analysis for the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health entitled, “Comparative effectiveness of physical activity intervention programs on children’s motor skills: A systematic review and network meta-analysis.” The review evaluated how different physical activity interventions impacted children’s motor skills. Mohamed Hassan is a post-doctoral researcher in the lab. Other co-authors, Wenxi Liu, Daniel McDonough and Xiwen Su were former graduate students in the lab. All researchers were under Gao’s mentorship when this project was completed.
