Stephen Ross, Ph.D., associate professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of undergraduate programs, was awarded the 2014 Council of Graduate Students (COGS) Outstanding Faculty Award. This award recognizes faculty members for their exceptional contributions to graduate education. This is the only faculty award that directly reflects the appreciation of the graduate student body – nominations and winners are all chosen by the students. All winners will be recognized on Monday, May 12 at the awards ceremony held in the Best Buy Theater at Northrop Auditorium. The ceremony will be held from 2-4 p.m. and is open to the public.
Ross also received special recogniton from the College of Education and Human Development for his outstanding service as the School of Kinesiology’s Director of Undergradute Studies.
