The original study, “Health wearable devices for weight and BMI reduction in individuals with overweight/obesity and chronic comorbidities: systematic review and network meta-analysis,” was published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine on March 17, 2021. Authors were Daniel J. McDonough, PhD candidate, Xiwen Su, former MS student, and Zan Gao, PhD, Director of PAEL and School of Kinesiology associate professor.
