Antunovic receives grant for a project on corporate social advocacy in women’s sports

The project, “Research in Progress: Corporate social advocacy in women’s sports” led by Dunja Antunovic, PhD, School of Kinesiology assistant professor, received a grant from Penn State University’s Arthur W. Page Center for Integrity in Public Communication.

Women’s sports leagues and teams are actively communicating about social justice issues. This research project examines the uses of digital media for corporate social advocacy (CSA) from the perspective of professional women’s sports organizations in the United States.

Co-authors include Nicole M. LaVoi, PhD, senior lecturer and director of the Tucker Center, Ceyda Mumcu, PhD, and Tucker Center external affiliated scholars, Katie Lebel, PhD, Nancy Lough, PhD, and Ann Pegoraro, PhD.
