Don Dengel, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology (LIHP), is the author of a recent blog post entitled “Scanning Hockey Players With DXA.” With the collegiate hockey season underway, Dr. Dengel talks about using dual X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) to determine body composition in collegiate male and female hockey players.
