Donald R. Dengel, PhD, professor in the School of Kinesiology and director of the Laboratory of Integrative Human Physiology, was awarded a Gopher Equity Project (GEP) microgrant from the University of Minnesota. The grant entitled “Exposed: Introduction to Human Anatomy and Physiology” will develop a series of monthly sessions that will expose students to materials, concepts, etc. commonly taught in laboratory-based exercise science courses (i.e., human anatomy, human physiology, exercise physiology). The goal is to expose students to materials prior to taking such courses, in the hopes of starting them off with a better understanding of expectations.
